High-CRI Light Bulbs
Texture, finishes, and color are essential to effective interior design. Lighting can make or break all of these elements, causing many property owners to turn to high-CRI light bulbs. CRI (color rendering index) lighting brings out the richness of colors, the detail in textures, and the sheen of surfaces. Lighting is an essential element of effective design, transforming a muted palette of finishes and materials into a lively one.
A light source’s CRI indicates how faithfully its light reproduces colors. The daylight-equivalent CRI goes from 1 to 100. The CRI scale measures the accuracy with which lighting sources reproduce eight colors (R1 through R8).
A higher CRI indicates that the artificial light source can more precisely reproduce colors. When a light source has a low CRI, the colors it illuminates will seem more artificial. Luckily, Stylighting’s selection of high-CRI LED bulbs will show off colors faithfully.
